Aswene Soundra Hospital and Research centre was founded in the year 1984 by Late Justice P.S.Kailasam Judge Supreme Court of India with Dr.Sadayavel Kailasam & Dr.Meera Sadayavel as Directors.

Dr. Sadayavel Kailasam is the consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Traumatologist and Arthoscopist. He completed his under graduation from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 1978. He finished his Diploma in Orthropaedics and his Masters Degree in Orthropaedic from Madras Medical College, Madras. He had training in Traumotology, Arthroscopic Surgery and Joint Replacements in Sydney, Australia. He has experience in Orthopaedics, Trauma and Sports Medicine for the past 30 years.
Dr. Meera Sadayavel is the consultant pediatrician. She did her under graduation from Madras Medical College, Madras and Diploma in Child Health also from Madras Medical College, Madras. She has experience of 25 years to her credit as a consultant pediatrician. She is also the Administrator of Aswene Soundra Hospital and is Incharge of Health Checkup Programs.
The Hospital is a multi specialty centre situated in the heart of Chennai at # 24, Kasturi Rangan Road, Teynampet, Chennai 600 018. The Hospital is a 30 bedded Hospital with both Out patient, Inpatient and Diagnostic Departments.
